About

Mission Statement;   To improve the lives of Tarrant County Gender Variant individuals through education, community support and outreach.

"The Fort Worth Transgender Support Group has been serving the Tarrant County area as a family atmosphere to Transgender, Gender Variant, Gender Neutral, Gender Fluid, Gender Non Conforming individuals and there supporters, since 2012. Our goal has always been, to provide or become an additional support system for those whether questioning or not.

Our regular scheduled meetings are always on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm . The street address can be found on our contact page and is linked to google maps. There is no dress code or expectations and no need to bring anything. You do not need to be subscribed to our newsletter to attend, but is highly recommended to get reminders and notices of meetings. We do however prefer that you sign our guest book when attending meetings for our private records. We occasionally plan social events throughout the month and participate in the annual Fort Worth Pride Parade. We always welcome all friends/ family /supporters to join in the meetings and conversations. Meetings are peer groups, meaning the groups are facilitated by the members of the group. There are no counselors present at meetings for the purpose of counseling or therapy. If you are seeking counseling we can recommend services to you.

At the bottom of every page you will find 3 social media links, Facebook, Twitter & Google Plus. Facebook is the preferred social media. There you will find more up to date information as well as live contact.
